Self-care is one aspect of our health to which addicts pay the least attention during addictive behavior. That is why Mt. View prioritizes the physical health of all our residents with our in-house personal trainer. Classes in Tai Chi, Yoga, Stretch, Energetics, and Movement Therapy take place daily with our trainer and staff. Tai Chi aids in stress reduction and relaxation, Yoga aids with mindfulness and meditation (as well as physical and mental well-being), Stretching exercises can relieve physical tension, Energetics involves breathwork and energy healing, and Movement Therapy’s holistic approach encourages self-expression and emotional release.
