Drug and Alcohol Treatment With a Holistic Focus

At Mountain  View Treatment Center, we address the mental, emotional, physical, and spiritual elements of the diseases of addiction and alcoholism.  Our Detox program provides a confidential and comfortable environment with 24-hour assistance from licensed nurses, supervised by our M.D.s who specialize in Addiction Medicine and pharmacology. Residents are given an assessment immediately upon admission, and proper detox medications are prescribed as needed. NAD+ IV Drips and other IV Treatments for replenishing vitamins and nutrients are available upon request. Furthermore, our Gourmet Chef provides healthy and balanced meals and snacks for proper nutrition throughout detox and residential care.

Our array of hand-picked treatment professionals – including licensed therapists, board certified addiction psychiatrist, certified addiction counselors, and experienced support staff – lead the way for our Drug and Alcohol Residential Treatment Program. After completing our detoxing program most residents chose to admit into our residential treatment program, wherein you’ll experience group therapy and psychoeducational groups daily, along with focused exercises and mindfulness that support the therapeutic process. 12 step support groups also take place on a daily basis, and each resident begins building relationships in the community of recovery that will be the lifeblood of maintaining sobriety after our program. We offer structure and accountability as support for obtaining and continuing these relationships.

To address the root causes of the disease of addiction, each resident will participate in individual therapy with one of our licensed and experienced therapists at least twice a week. Self-care is conducted with our residents in a recovery focused method, and we participate in meditation, mindfulness, and self-reflection twice daily (at the beginning and at the end of the day). Furthermore, our in-house personal trainer conducts recovery-focused exercises – such as Tai Chi, Yoga, Stretching, Movement Therapy, etc. – with the residents and staff daily. Finally, we facilitate family therapy each Sunday by inviting family members to visit their loved one in treatment, during which we conduct group therapy with residents and their families. We also recognize that fun is an essential part of the recovery process. For if a person does not learn how to have fun in recovery, then they are doomed to relapse. Therefore, we facilitate fun activities with a focus on recovery as well. Surfing therapy, hiking, recovery conferences, and professional ballgames are some of the ways in which we help each resident learn how to have fun in the community of recovery.
